1981 Guide Handbook - Patrol Purpose Patch


This is tested by a panel made up of your Patrol Leaders' council including your Unit Guiders, and one other interested adult.


1) As a Patrol choose four items, each form a Patrol Purpose Plan chart in a different chapter of the Guide Handbook.

2) Make plans for completing these items.

3) Report to your testers the items you have chosen and the plans you have made.

4) Carry out these plans within three months of reporting them.  Each member of the Patrol must take a special part in at least one item.

5) When you have completed your chosen items report back to your testers.  Each member of the Patrol must be prepared to talk about her contribution.

Note: i) Whilst working for the Patrol Purpose Patch you should try to keep the same Guides in your Patrol.

ii) Your Patrol may work for more than one Patrol Purpose Patch.
