1989 Brownie Badge Book - Pack Holiday Badge

This badge may be taken by a Brownie who has attended one or more Pack Holidays for a total of not less than 4 nights.
1) Bring a letter to the test from the Guider in charge of your last Pack Holiday saying that you:
a) Have taken part in the planning of the Pack Holiday including: a theme, games; menus; writing a poem or prayer; preparing charts; other activities.
b) Have kept your own belongings neat and tidy.
c) Have helped your Six with the following on a Pack Holiday of at least 4 nights:
* Laying and clearing of tables
* Making a table decoration of some sort
* Washing, drying and putting away dishes and cutlery
* Keeping the house clean and tidy
* Helping to prepare, cook and serve meals
* Planning and taking part in prayers.
2) Bring to the test any charts or posters you made before or during the Pack Holiday, and any items you made on Pack Holiday to take home.
3) a) Tell the tester what you did on Pack Holiday, e.g. what you cooked, cleaned and sang.
b) Know the Country Code and explain how you have helped to protect water, trees, flowers, and other living things around the Pack Holiday house.
c) Know the Green Cross Code and tell the tester how you kept this whilst on Pack Holiday.
d) Know how to keep the Pack Holiday house safe.
e) Know how to keep yourself fit and healthy.
4) Bring your own souvenirs of the Pack Holiday and talk to the tester about them.  These may be photographs, craft items, a diary, or things you collected to remind you of where you were and what you did.
The tester would be the holder of a Pack Holiday Licence.,

Before you take this badge you must have been on one or more Pack Holidays and have spent four or more nights away altogether with your Pack.

7) Know how to keep yourself fit and healthy.

8) Make a diary to show what you have done during your Pack Holiday.  You may draw or write.
