Note: You should complete Clauses 1 and 2 and two others of your choice in one language other than your own.
1) Famous people and places
Find out about a famous place in a country where your chosen language is spoken.
2) Using the language
At the test, in your chosen language:
a) tell the tester how you would order food and drink
b) talk about your family.
3) Phrases
At the test, tell the tester how you would introduce yourself in your chosen language, for example, be able to say 'hello', your name and 'goodbye'.
4) Exploration
Visit or write to your nearest tourist office and find out how they could help somebody visiting the area for the first time.
5) Creation
Make a craft which is traditional from a country where your chosen language is spoken and know what it is called in that language.

In your chosen language, help the tester to get around your city or town by teaching her or him useful phrases for shopping, travel (train or bus) and sightseeing.
4) Exploration
Find out about a country where your chosen language is spoken.  Tell the tester about its capital, leader, location, currency (and it's relative sterling value), weather and other issues.
5) Creation
Learn a song from a country where our language is spoken.

1) Famous people and places
Find out about a festival from a country where your chosen language is spoken.
2) Using the language
At the test, in your chosen language:
a) your childhood
b) your hobbies.
3) Phrases
In your chosen language, help the tester to get around your city or gown by teaching her or him useful phrases for exchanging money and traveller's cheques.
4) Exploration
Find out about places where you can get help in an emergency in a country where your language is spoken, for example, if you have lost your money, if someone needs to get home fast, or if someone is ill.
5) Creation
Cook some food from a country where your chosen language is spoken and know the names of the ingredients in that language.

1) Famous people and places
Find out about a current issue in a country where your chosen language is spoken.
2) Using the language
At the test, in your chosen language, talk about:
a) an item of news
b) Guiding in the United Kingdom.
3) Phrases
In your chosen language describe your favourite sport or talk about a hobby.
4) Exploration
Watch a TV programme or read an article about an issue currently affecting a country where your chosen language is spoken.  Talk to the tester about the issue and find out her or his perspective on it.
5) Creation
Cook or plan a meal where each course reflects the food eaten in a country where your chosen language is spoken.
6) Guiding
Take part in and use your language skills at an international Guiding event.
7) Travel
Travel in a country where your chosen language is spoken. Report back to the tester.
