1935 POR - Explorer Badge


N. B.  - The C.C.A. (who is responsible for testing the candidate) must be consulted, through the usual channels, before a Ranger may enter for this badge.

The candidate will be required to make a two-days' exploration of unknown country, carrying the necessary kit (which she has thought out and collected herself), also food, or a limited sum of money with which to buy it.  Maps and instructions will be given her by the Examiner.

1938 POR - Explorer Badge


N.B. - The Tester must be a qualified person nominated by the County Camp Adviser, and the latter must be consulted through the usual channels before a Ranger may enter for this badge.

The candidate will be required to make a two-days' exploration of unknown country, carrying the necessary kit (which she has thought out and collected herself), also food, or a limited supply of money with which to buy it.  Maps and instructions will be given her by the Tester.

Further similar explorations may be undertaken with permission of the commissioner and Camp Adviser.
