Action Plus Badge
Introduced in 1990, withdrawn in the early 2000s, this was a scheme of challenges split into four themes - Adventure, Community, Creativity, and Wider World. The idea was that it would be open to Guides aged 13 and over, but also Rangers and Young Leaders aged 14-16, girls who had lost touch with Guiding, girls helping 'unofficially' with Rainbows or Brownies, or girls who weren't members of Guiding but wanting something to do. In reality, it was used by 13-14 year old Guides.
To gain the badge, an individual had to do
One activity from Adventure 'Pick and Mix'
One activity from Adventure 'Expedition'.
One activity from Community 'Getting ready to help/help in action'
One activity from Community 'Getting ready to lead/tasting leadership in Guiding'
One activity in Creativity 'Entertainment'
One activity in Creativity 'Self-image'
One activity in Creativity 'Tech'
One activity in Creativity 'Communication'
One activity in Creativity 'Crafts'
One activity in Creativity 'Home skills'
One activity in Wider World 'What's happening'
